With December looming around the corner, I thought it was time to start bringing out the Christmas decor. As many of you know from my YouTube channel, Gabrielle Miller, I am obsessed with the holiday season and love to decorate. Below you will see exactly how a decorated my room, what I used, and my favorite places to shop for decor!

My overall Christmas theme is red plaid and snowflakes. I would suggest shopping at Target in the Hearth & Hand Collection, Homegoods, and Pottery Barn. The majority of items I purchased are from Target!

To start I wanted to show this gorgeous boxwood wreath that I picked up at Trader Joe's. It was affordable, a great size, and perfect to hang on my door with a red ribbon. I thought that it added the perfect touch.

For my bed, I used these super cute red flannel snowflake print sheets. While they were unfortunately from last season, these holly berry sheets and these candy cane sheets are great options! I kept my main ruffle beige pillow but added a red plaid pillow from Ballard Designs and a tan snowflake pillow from Target.

Next to the bed, I have a white dresser and nightstand. On my dresser, I added a little Christmas tree with a burlap sack and my favorite fir and firewood candle. For my nightstand, I added a fake holly berry sprig in a glass bottle. I feel that these small accessories add a lot to the overall holiday ambiance.

I had been wanting to change up my desk for a while now, so I finally decided to for Christmas. I picked up these super cute black candlestick holders and white tapered candles from Target. However, I plan to use the candlesticks all year round because I love the way they look. To open up space on my window sill for my little Christmas village, I moved my ribbed vase filled with olive branches to the corner of my desk. I also displayed my favorite perfumes on a cute marble tray. Last year for Christmas I was gifted a gorgeous bottle of Chanel No 5 in the limited edition red bottle. It looks perfect on my desk for the holidays.

My favorite aspect of my room is my Christmas tree named Linus. I named my tree after Linus from Charlie Brown and Linus Larabee from Sabrina. I got Linus last year from Cornelius and it is the perfect size and shape. Around the bottom, I have a cute knit red tree skirt. For my sofa, I decided to keep one white pillow that I use all year. Then I added a long red plaid snowfalk accent pillow from Homegoods and a cozy cream throw blanket.

I hope you all got some inspiration for your holiday decorations! What is your decoration theme for this year? Happy Holidays!

-Gabrielle
